Fun in the Sun

Sorry to be so absent from our blog for the past couple of months.  We're doing well but keeping very busy these days.  Caleb just had his 3 year check up and is doing great.  He's still at the top of the chart with his height & weight - 40" tall and 40lbs.  97th and 95th percentile respectively.  Of course this means we just celebrated his 3rd birthday and had a ton of fun with family and friends here to celebrate.   Joye also celebrated her birthday - I won't tell you how old she is now, but it rhymes with pirty and starts with "thir."

A major thing keeping us occupied these days is something our church is doing called the Neighborhood Hope Project.  Read more about it at www.neighborhoodhopeproject.com.  We are building a pocket park for the neighborhood our church is a part of and also working on 22 projects throughout the neighborhood ranging from minor yard work to exterior painting to full bathroom renovation and a lot in between.  We're doing this all in 6 days starting on Monday the 12th.  You can go to the website above and starting Sunday watch a live video feed overlooking the park to watch the construction.  You can also pray for the project, our neighbors, and all involved - that would be very much appreicated!!!

In other news, Johnny's parents are now Nampa residents.  They successfully made the 750 mile trek and now have the fun of unpacking boxes.  It has been nice to have them close by and Caleb is already getting to spend some quality time with them.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great rest of the summer!

Love ya,
JJC

First Bass of the year!

Caleb went to camp with us this year and loved the zip line!

The garden is plentiful!!!!

We found some hidden treasures at my parents house when we were helping them pack.  I couldn't resist.

The kids had tons of fun playing with each other.

A stop at Casa Bonita's - don't go there for the food, but it is a fun place to go!

First bike!

They had fun in the jump house before devouring cake & ice cream.

We had a blast at Johnny's aunt's ski lake taking in some canoeing, fishing, boating, lounging, eating and fireworks on the 4th.

It was a long day, but tons of fun!

We went to the Zoo Boise and had a good time.  Caleb and the ladies.

Joye teaching Caleb how to coupon. :)

Catching some bugs with Boppa.

Getting the hang of the pedals!
